Antoni Stutz, Director-Producer

Antoni Stutz’ most recent feature film entitled "Rushlights” which he wrote, directed and produced was released in 2013. “Rushlights”, a neo-noir thriller set in Texas, stars Golden Globe© and Emmy© winner Beau Bridges and Emmy© nominee Aidan Quinn as well as Josh Henderson (TNT’s Dallas 2012, ’13, ’14). The unrated directors cut of “Rushlights” will be released in 2016. A commercial success, the film opened theatrically in 16 cities across major markets in the US. “Rushlights” was officially selected to attend several of the world’s most prestigious international Film Festivals, including the Montreal International Film Festival, the Shanghai Intl. Film Festival as well as the Dallas Intl. Film Festival.

Antoni is currently in development on his next film, an intense hostage drama with a very unique twist. Principal photography is scheduled to commence in 2017. In 2007/2008 Antoni executive produced the feature film“Expired”, directed by Italian Filmmaker Cecilia Miniucchi, starring Jason Patrick, 2 time academy award© nominee Samantha Morton, Academy Award© winner Teri Garr as well as Ileana Douglas. "Expired" was part of the official selection of the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, as well as the 2007 Cannes International Film Festival. (closing night main event-semaine de la critique) Antoni's interest in the Arts is also illustrated in his passion for photography and fine art. His first solo show as an artist took place at Bergamot Station in Los Angeles (2005), subsequently his work was also exhibited at the Riverside Museum of Art Los Angels amongst many other venues. Most recently (2014) Antoni exhibited at the notable Irvine Fine Arts Center in California, as well as the distinguished BERLIN ARTS PROJECTS in Berlin Germany. (2016)

Born and raised in Europe Antoni began his career in the entertainment industry as an actor having studied at the“Lee Strasberg Theater Institute” in New York and Los Angeles under the direction of Anna Strasberg.

Still in his teens Antoni went on landing feature roles in both movies and television. He won critical acclaim for his role in the US TV series Tour of Duty and worked with directors such as Michael Mann (Crime Story), the legendary John Frankenheimer (Dead Bang), Bob Giraldi and several other outstanding directing talents.

After having directed numerous commercials, notably MTV’s “Rock The Vote” campaign to encourage the American youth to register to vote in the presidential elections, at 27 Antoni directed his first film entitled “You’re Killing Me” (aka “the Killing Club”) starring 2012 Emmy© winner Julie Bowen, (ABC’s “Modern Family”).
